Shenanigans Wins the Epicurean Delight Award ——————————————————
C.I. Shenanigans won best entrée at the Epicurean Delight Gala held at the Spokane Convention Center on November 12th, 2010! Entries were blindly judged by panel of 30 distinguished community members & INBC supporters in four different categories; hors d’oevours, first course, entrée, and desert. C.I. Shenanigans’ Pan-Seared Scallops with roasted poblano cream, spinach, and purple potato and chorize hash impressed the judges and was awarded first place in the entrée category. This is the second award C.I. Shenanigans has won at the Epicurean Delight; in 2007 the Seared Scallop Salad won in the first course category.
The Inland Northwest Blood Center was the proud beneficiary of the 2010 Epicurean Delight Gala, attracting a record-breaking 1,100 people in attendance and participation. The INBC is the primary provider of blood services to the region, collecting blood from 150 volunteer donors each day in order to meet the demand of more than 35 area hospitals and medical facilities. Proceeds from Epicurean Delight 2010 will be used to advance INBC’s life saving mission with a portion of the funds designated to providing superior technologies and blood center education and training.
